A.goat's-hair cloak, used as a garment by day and a coverlet by night, Ar.Ra.1450, V.738, Ec.347, Lys.933, Av.122; “ἐν πέντε ς. ἐγκεκορδυλημένοςId.Nu.10; “ς. δερματίνηPl.Erx.400e; cf. σίσυρνα, σίσυς.—Tz. (ad Lyc.634) distinguishes σισύρα as made ἐκ δέρματος ἐντρίχου from σίσυρνα = ἄτριχον δερμάτιον.
