Casĭna

A comedy of Plautus, which has come down to us in the form of an abridgment. It is based upon the Κληρούμενοι of Diphilus, with the addition of obscene and vulgar passages to suit the Roman taste. A good separate edition is that of Geppert (Berlin, 1866), and that of Schöll (Leipzig, 1890).
