ἀνέφυσα. Greek of the Classical period would have said ἔφυσα. ἀναφύω is common from 300 b. c., Ap. Rhod. ii. 1212 ὄφις…ὃν αὐτὴ γαῖ᾽ ἀνέφυσε Καυκάσου ἐν κνημοῖσι.
