Zenon

6. A grammarian mentioned by Diogenes Laertius (7.35), as the author of some epigrams, as well as other compositions. Casaubon and others have identified this Zenon with Zenon of Myndus, who is mentioned by Eusebius (Praep. Evang. 2.6), Theodoretus (Serm. VIII. ad Graecos), Stephanus (s. v. Μύνδος) and others (Menag. ad Diog. Laert. 7.35).

In the article on Soranus, we find: "at this present time (1848)" and this date seems to reflect the dates of works cited. 1873 - probably the printing date.
