Sculptor; born in Philadelphia, Pa., Nov. 2, 1833; joined the National army in 1861; was promoted major. His works include America honoring her fallen brave; America victorious; Captivity, etc.; and statues of Generals Sheridan, Forsyth, Merritt, Hartsuff, Duryee etc.
