Sealsfield, Charles 1793-1864

Author; born in Poppitz, Moravia, Austria, March 3, 1793; came to the United States soon after 1822, and changed his name from Karl Postel to Sealsfield. His publications include American and German elective affinities; South and North, etc. He died in Solothurn, Switzerland, May 26, 1864.
