Vanderveer, Abraham 1781-1839

Legislator; born in Flatbush, New York, Jan. 27, 1781; appointed postmaster of Flatbush, 1814; clerk of the Kings county courts, 1816; elected member of Congress for the district including Kings, Richmond, and Rockland counties in 1836. He died in Brooklyn, July 21, 1839.
