أَذَيْبُ ذ , [like أَزَيْبُ,] Much water. (K.) ― -b2- Fright, or fear. (K.) As mentions the saying, مَرَّ فُلَانٌ وَ لَهُ أَذَيْبُ [as though meaning Such a one passed having fright, or fear]: and he says, I think that one says أَزَيْبُ, with زاى having the meaning here following. (TA.) ― -b3- Briskness, liveliness, sprightliness, or agility. (K.)
