Affairs in Kansas.

--A dispatch from Atchison, Kansas, dated the 21st, says the Methodist Annual Conference met there that day, Bishop Morris presiding:

Joseph Hapromboise, the head Chief of the Pottowattomies, with a number of the leading men in the tribe, came in, yesterday, with 17 teams, for supplies from the Relief Society. They were supplied with corn, flour, beans, meat and clothing, and with wheat for seed. They claim the $600,000 due them from the Government, and for which they have recently instituted a suit. The tribe numbers 2,700, and the head men estimate that over one thousand are in want of assistance.

Over 30,000 bushels of seed wheat have been received and distributed from this point, together with large amounts of garden and other seed. Nearly three hundred teams, loaded with supplies of different descriptions, left to-day.
