--They have organized a ‘"Home Guard"’ at Yonkers, N. Y. Perhaps it will hardly do to judge of its character from a remark of the witty Mr. Sparrowgrass, who, joining the corps, said, "It is understood that the Home Guard is not to go to the wars, and not to leave Yonkers except in case of invasion.
