The Wise Legion.

--An impression seems to prevail among some of our citizens that this organization is based somewhat upon political grounds. We have been requested to state that it is entirely disconnected therefrom, and the thought of drawing any discrimination in a political sense has not been permitted for one moment to enter into the minds of the original projectors of the Legion. It is to be composed of companies of cavalry, infantry and artillery.
