should be the motto of every Virginian at this particular time. No man or woman should purchase anything made at the North, if articles ads well their purpose can be found at the South. Let the ladies set the example of encouraging the manufactures of home, and men will gladly follow. We saw, yesterday, a young lady dressed in home-made goods, and we are quite sure she could not have looked more beautiful had she been rigged out in satins and velvets.
