--Among the resolutions which will be submitted in Congress at in early day, is one of instruction to the Judiciary Committee, looking to the amendment the neutrality laws, so as, in addition to preventing foreign enlistments, they may retain volunteer militia from going into a State for the purpose of aiding in resistance to Federal laws.
A number of Congressmen have prepared speeches favoring coercion.
The leading men of Missouri are discussing separate independence for that State, so as to avoid being implicated in the extreme secession movement.
The wife of Postmaster General Holt is convalescent.
