Examination of Suspected Spies and Traitors. Two low characters, called Marshall Mayne and Elias Todd, former residents of Elizabeth City county, who were arrested by the patriot forces and sent to Richmond five weeks ago, on suspicion of being spies and traitors, made an attempt on yesterday to get a hearing before Judge Lyons, on a habeas corpus.
