Valuable Prizes.

--The steamer Antelope reached this place yesterday, and brought here a detachment of the Washington Artillery, under command of Lieut James Salvo. They had in charge the following officers and seamen, lately captured by a Confederate State Privateer: Captain L. Holmes, and W. Hurd, Mate, late of the bark Glen, of Portland, Me., from Philadelphia, for Tortugas, with a cargo of 391 tons coal; Henry Wilson, Mate, late of the bark Rowena, of and for Philadelphia, from Laguayra, with a cargo of 1,000 bags coffee — this vessel is said to be new and valuable; Wm. Nichols, seaman, and Henry Anderson, a boy, lately of the schooner Mary Alice, from Porto Rico, for New York, with a cargo of 215 hhds. of sugar. We also learn that a privateer has been chased into a harbor not far distant, after an exciting run of some hours.--Charleston Mercury 6th.
