A performance for the benefit of the wives and children of the soldiers from Richmond now in the field will, we learn, take place at Metropolitan Hall on Saturday evening, the Southern Harmonians having kindly tendered their services for this landable purpose. The chairman of the Relief Committee will take the money at the door. This company will also perform every evening during the week. Their houses herstofore have been large, and frequent plandits have testified the public appreciation of their efforts.
