--Jos. G. Taylor, a Tennessee Volunteer, who shot Lieut. Davidson in Lynchburg last summer, and was afterwards brought to Richmond, where he was not court- martialed, has been discharged from custody. It appears that he was carried to Tennessee, and there liberated by an examining Court, the witnesses having failed to appear.
