Yankee Raids in Southwestern Virginia.

A band of Yankees entered Scott and Lee counties, Va. last week, taking possession of Jonesville, the county seat of Lee, and pursuing and capturing some twenty citizens of the place who had fled, carrying off the mails from the Post-Office, and everything of value in the town that was portable. They took $20,000 of property from Captain D. S. Dickinson, including eleven slaves. About 400 of them are now encamped four miles from the place.
