Beast Butler superceded by Banks.

Mobile, Dec. 27.
--The Advertiser and Register has late New Orleans papers.

Beast Butler was superceded by N. P. Banks on the 15th inst. Not over 8,000 troops came out with Banks. It is rumored that Banks will disband the negro regiments.

Butler's ‘"General Order,"’ dated the 15th says: Landing with a military chest containing less than seventy five dollars from the boards of a rebel Government you have given your country's treasury near half a million of dollars, and so supplied yourselves with the needs of your service. Your expedition has cost your Government less by four fifths than any other.

He boasts of his negro regiments.
