The Militia Drills are promptly attended now, by all ages who are able to march, and compose an army in themselves sufficiently brave and powerful to meet such a braggart as the Yankee Hooker and defeat him on any field. Besides the second class, who are ready to do duty when required there are hundreds of old men, too infirm to march or drill, but who are ready at a moment's notice to take position in the batteries and give the Abolition hordes such doses of blue pills, as will soon convince them of the impregnability of Richmond and the determination of her people.
