--On Friday last a party of men, professing to be soldiers, entered Mr. John B. Young's field, some three miles from Richmond, and shot down several of his hogs Seeing a negro boy attempting to drive the hogs beyond danger, they deliberately fired upon him, but the ball did not take effect. Only a day or two before a similar party entered a widow lady's field, near Mr. Young's, and shot several of her hogs. Ought not some steps be taken to put an end to these depredations?
