The Poor of the city and its suburbs are to be provided for this winter, and to do so effectually arrangements should be commenced at once. The city, in its official capacity, will be compelled to aid the poor of the suburbs, and the sooner it does so the better. By a proper combination, arrangements may be made for a "relief store" on Church Hill, where the necessaries of life can be collected and sold at moderate prices.
