Have we any like him in our Midst?

--A citizen of Houston communicates the following to the Texas Telegraph:

‘ On yesterday I called upon Dr. Robinson, one of the principal physicians of our city, for my medical bill and that of my daughter, whose husband is in the army of Tennessee, and the Doctor replied that he had no account against either of us; that Congress exempted him from military duty on account of his being a physician, and left him at home to provide for and enjoy the society of his family, consequently he felt it to be his duty to serve soldiers' families free of charge — that he would make enough out of those who were at home making fortunes, to afford him a living, and as a living for his family was all that he wanted to make during this war, he was satisfied.
