--Bishop Ames, and Missionary Secretary Harris, of the Northern Methodist Church, are on a tour down the Mississippi from Cairo to the Gulf, under the protection and countenance of the Government at Washington, with authority to "take possession of all houses of worship belonging to the Methodist Episcopal Church South, whose pastors are disloyal, or who have been appointed by a disloyal bishop."
