Hustings Court

--The November term of the Hustings Court of Magistrates commenced yesterday. The following is a list of the cases acted

Madison Smith, charged with passing a counterfeit gold dollar on J. H. James, a restaurant keeper on Seventh street, was sent on for trial before Judge William H. Lyons.

Calvin Henry, charged with stealing a lot of money from a market man, was sent on for trial. [Henry has already served a term in the penitentiary.]

Isham, a slave, was tried for stabbing Mac, slave of William Greaner, and ordered to receive thirty-nine lashes.

Sam, slave of Mrs. Fanny Macon, charged with stealing a horse belonging to the Confederate States, and offering him for sale, was discharged.

The court thereupon adjourned till 11 o'clock this morning.
