Mayor's Court.

--Recorder James K. Caskie officiated in this court yesterday in the absence of the Mayor. The following cases received his attention:

Thomas Digney, charged with drunkenness and disorderly conduct in the street, and taking a crutch from a crippled man and assaulting him with it, was discharged with a reprimand.

Patrick Drewry was committed to jail, in default of security to keep the peace, on the charge of interfering with the police in the discharge of their duty.

Robert Walker was charged with stealing fourteen pounds of powder from some person unknown; but the case was not fully made out, and the accused was therefore discharged.
