εἰσκυκλ-έω ,
A.wheel in, esp. in a theatre, turn a thing inwards by machinery, and so, withdraw it from the eyes of the spectators, Ar.Th. 265, cf. Luc.Lex.8 : generally, “ὄψων παρασκευὴν εἰσκυκλουμένηνAth. 6.27oe : metaph., πράγματα δαίμων τις ἐσκεκύκληκεν ἐς τὴν οἰκίαν some spirit has wheeled ill luck into the house, Ar.V.1475 :—Pass., plunge into,τοῖς τῆς ἱστορίας διηγήμασιLXX 2 Ma.2.24:—Med., c. acc., [ἡρῷ᾽ ἔπη].. εἰσκυκλήσομαι Poet. in BKT5(1)p.84.
