II. of persons, healthy, hearty, sound (opp. νοσερός, κεφαλαί ib.4; “ὑγιηρότατοιHdt.4.187: Sup. ὑγιηρέστατος (which may be from ὑγιηρός, cf. σπουδαιέστατος, etc.) Id.2.77 codd., but in AB115.7 ὑγιηρότατος is cited from Hdt. Bk.2. Adv. “-ρῶς, εἶχονHp.Epid.1.5, cf. Art.41 (v.l.).
