Editing at Pike's Peak.

--Newspaper editors have a hard time at Pike's Peak. Mr. Brers, senior editor of the News, within 18 months has been murderously assaulted, had his office set on fire, and repeated threats have been made against his life, and last week his dwelling-house was burned to the ground.--On Saturday, an aspirant for Congress spit in the face of one of the editors. On Monday, a notorious character named Murphy approached the office with hostile intentions, but being confronted by six shotguns and rifles leveled at him from the windows, expressed himself satisfied, apologized, and departed.
