Marine Losses for February.
--The Monthly Table of Marine Losses for the past month shows an aggregate of forty-eight vessels, of which four were ships, eleven were barks, nine were brigs, and twenty-four were schooners.
The total value of property lost and missing was
one million two hundred and thirty-seven thousand eight hundred and twenty-five dollars. This is the value of the property totally lost, exclusive of damage to vessels not amounting to a total loss.
Total losses for January were one steamer, seventeen ships, eight barks, five brigs and eleven schooners, with a total value of property lost and missing amounting to
one million five hundred and sixty-five thousand dollars.
