A call upon the ladies of Richmond.

To the Editors of the Dispatch:
--Will you have the kindness to permit me to say through the columns of your excellent paper, that the ladies of Richmond will confer a great favor on our sick by sending us a small quantity of refreshments suited to hospital use. Our present location — Grove Wharf — is not surrounded by those conveniences which contribute to wants of the sick. I am aware of the many demands made upon the ladies of Richmond, and take this opportunity to acknowledge the numerous acts of kindness to our sick while we were encamped at Fairfield. Any packages sent to this point call the care of Dr. Robert R. Rend, Captain Regiment Louisiana Volunteers.
