The Legislature. The Senate had another short session yesterday. A bill was introduced to incorporate the Virginia Porcelain and Earthenware company in Augusta county. A resolution, remonstrating against the passage by the Confederate Congress of an act conscripting all persons between the ages of 16 and 55 years, and recommending our representatives in Congress to use their efforts against the passage of such a law, was properly referred. Adjourned. In the House a bill was reported for the extension of the jurisdiction of the corporation of Danville. A resolution of inquiry was adopted for directing suitable hospital accommodations at Staunton, in lieu of the deaf and dumb and blind institution now occupied. The bill for the enrollment of the State forces was next called up, extensively discussed, and during the consideration of the subject the House adjourned.
A saddle for Gen. Morgan. --We yesterday saw a magnificent saddle at the store of Mr. G. Z Miles, which is intended as a present to Gen. John H Morgan from the citizens of Danville, Va. It is finished in the highest style of workmanship and material, and is beautifully silver mounted. At the same establishment we noticed a most beautiful saddle, which is intended as a present to Capt. Hines, from Mr. Miles himself.
