Stealing money. --John, slave to C. P. Word, was arraigned before the Mayor yesterday to answer the charge of stealing $11 in specie from Sally Thompson, a free woman. John, it seems, entered the house of Sally to get a cup of coffee, and while he was drinking it Sally fell asleep, during which time John put his hand in her bosom, relieved her of her purse and money, and cut stick. The Mayor ordered him to be soundly flogged.
