--Sixty head of fat cattle, fed by Jacob Vanmeter — average weight 1,727 pounds--were shipped to New York on the 28th ult. from Hardy county, Va. Several of them weighed over 2,300, and supposed to be the finest lot of cattle that has left that county for several years.
The aggregate cost was $4,218.
