Transferred. --Brig. Gen. John H. Winder, for three years post commandant of the Department of Henrico, including this city, is to be transferred to the command of the military post of Goldsboro', N. C. Who is to fill the place made vacant by this transfer, has not transpired. Gen. Kemper is spoken of.

Love, arrived here a few days since and went into camp.--They are a fine looking set of men, young, robot, and active. Among them to a son of the celebrated chief Junaluskee. They have attained a high degree of perfection in drill, and go through all the evolutions with precision and accuracy.--Their shrill war whoop makes one involuntarily clap his band on his head to see if his scalp is safe.
