Myrmidŏnes

（Μυρμιδόνες). A race in Southern Thessaly, said to have originally dwelt in the island of Aegina and to have emigrated from it with Peleus. They fought before Troy under their chieftain Achilles. For a legend about their origin, see Aeacus.
