RIRHA (Sidi Shimane) Morocco.

Ancient ruins in the S of Mauretania Tingitana, about 40 km NW of Volubilis on the Roman road to Tingi. Limited excavations in 1920-21 yielded remains of a small Roman settlement dating from the 2d-3d c. A.D.: baths with mosaic floors, various indeterminate buildings, and traces of a surrounding wall. In 1957 the site was dug deeply and traces were found of a pre-Roman settlement going back to at least the 2d c. B.C.
