ثِقَلٌ ثقل Heaviness; weight, or weightiness; ponderousness; gravity; contr. of خِفَّةٌ: (S, K, and Er-Rághib:) and preponderance: in its primary acceptation, relating to corporeal objects: then, to ideal objects.
