Castle Thunder.

--Three Yankee deserters, believed to be spies, were sent to Saulsbury, N. C., yesterday, to be confined in the Penitentiary at that place during the war.

J. J. Kesler, of co. C, 55th N. C., and 26 others, charged with desertion, was received yesterday.

D. Turner, of the same regiment, being sent here from Camp Holmes, N. C., escaped from his guards at Weldon; and J. B. Ashwell, and S. A. Tuck, deserters, being sent from Liberty, Va., escaped from the train between that place and Lynchburg.
