2) mark, aim: “as an aim or b.” H5 I, 2, 186. “I am your b., and must abide your shot,” H6C I, 4, 29.
3) goal, bound: “here is my journey's end, here is my b.” Oth. V, 2, 267.
4) a thrust given by a horned animal, or rather the part of the body with which it is given, viz the horned head: “an hasty-witted body would say your head and b. were head and horn,” Shr. V, 2, 41.
