Callidrŏmus

（Καλλίδρομος). According to Livy (xxxvi. 15), the highest summit of Mount Oeta. It was occupied by Cato with a body of troops in the battle fought at the pass of Thermopylae between the Romans, under Acilius Glabrio, and the army of Antiochus; and, owing to this manœuvre, the latter was entirely routed.
