Decate'phorus

（*Dekath/foros), that is, the god to whom the tenth part of the booty is dedicated, was a surname of Apollo at Megara. Pausanias (1.42.5) remarks, that the statues of Apollo Pythius and Decatephorus at Megara resembled Egyptian sculptures.

In the article on Soranus, we find: "at this present time (1848)" and this date seems to reflect the dates of works cited. 1873 - probably the printing date.
