From Washington.
Washington,Feb. 10.
--The committee appointed by the Peace Conference will probably make their report Tuesday.
Various plans are before them.
From what has privately transpired, the Border States' resolutions meet with much favor.
It is the general impression some such measures including the division of the Territories by the line of 36.30, north of it slavery to be prohibited, and south, neither Congressional nor Territorial interference.
This subject is to be left for the decision of the people when they form their State Government.
The acquisition of future Territory is not to be so easily consummated as heretofore.
Some members of the Montgomery Congress have just advised their secession friends here that Ministers have been selected to represent the interests of the Southern Confederacy in Europe.
