Prescriptions.

--We hear some complaint of a lack of enterprise and energy on the part of our city druggists, several instances having lately occurred where parties were unable to have prescriptions compounded at night, when ordered by physicians for very sick persons. No doubt our apothecaries have to work very hard, and it must be a grievous task to leave a comfortable bed to answer the door bell; but in these times many disagreeable necessities must be submitted to in order to relieve the greater sufferings of others.
