Northern Illustrations.

Harper's Weekly for July 26th contains cuts giving plans of ‘"The new rebel iron-clad Richmond, or Virginia No. 2, from sketches found on board the Teazer."’ It is stated that the U. S. naval officers expect to make short work of her when she comes out. There are also pictures of scenery along the York River road, pickets of the contending parties exchanging civilities and newspapers, the gunboats shelling the rebels on the James, and the usual pictures of the Federals slaughtering the rebels on the fields of battle. One of the humorous cuts is a New York father promenading his two daughters with placards on their backs, offering them and $1,000 to officers enlisting thirty men.
