FLORANGE-DASPICH-EBANGE Moselle, France.

A view SW of Thionville. Ancient workshops were discovered here: 1) potteries (in the middle of Daspich) centered W of the Daspich-Terville Roman road (roughly corresponding to modern N 412); native and Belgian ware was produced from the end of the Gallic period to the 3d c. 2) E of the road mentioned above, forges and metallurgical works dating from the middle of the 1st c. to the 3d c. The settlement was apparently twice destroyed by fire in the 1st c. A statuette of Epona was discovered in 1964.

The Thionville museum has an archaeological collection.
