CA´DREMA

CA´DREMA (Κάδρεμα: Eth. Καδρεμεύς), a city of Lycia, a colony of Olbia: the word is interpreted to mean “the parching of corn” (Steph. s. v. Κάδρεμα). It is conjectured (Spratt's Lycia, vol. i. p. 218) that the ruins at Gormak, at the extremity of the territory of Olbia [ATTALEIA] may be Cadrema.
