ZABE

ZABE (Ζάβη, Procop. B. Vand. 2.20, p. 501, ed. Bonn), a district in Mauretania Sitifensis. According to the Not. Imp. it contained a town of the same name, which must be that called Zabi in the Itin. Ant. (p. 30). Lapie identifies it with the present Msilah.
