School for Scandal.
--This glorious old comedy will be produced at the Theatre to-night, and we candidly advise those who desire to enjoy a rich dramatic entertainment to go and see it. No one, who is familiar with
Mr. Richings' style, can for a moment doubt that he will do justice to the part of Sir Peter, the old bachelor who marries a young wife.
We are equally confident that
Miss Caroline Richings will personate
Lady Teazle in that charming way which is emphatically her own. An efficient support will be rendered by prominent members of the theatrical company, and the indications are that the comedy will be played as well as it has ever been played in
Richmond.
This is the last week of the sojourn of
Mr. Richings and his accomplished daughter, and we hope it will prove a brilliant one.
