In prospect of the superabundant crop in Southwestern Georgia, the question is already asked — what is to be done with the corn? A correspondent of the Savannah News aptly replies — put it into hogs, cattle and sheep. Rev. K. J. Stewart, who was some time since shamefully treated, and driven out of Alexandria by the Yankees, is now Chaplain of the Sixth North Carolina regiment. The Southern Express Company's Telegraph line was completed to Thomasville, N. C., on Saturday last. Watermelons have made their appearance in the Savannah market.
